Hypnotherapy for Confidence

Hypnotherapy is very effective for increasing confidence quickly and for the long term.

The goal of hypnotherapy for confidence is to effectively ‘re-program’ the unconscious mind with positive beliefs and attitudes, helping you to feel more confident in yourself, your abilities and reconnecting you with positive inner resources. Hypnotherapy can also help you to recognise and overcome any negative self-talk or limiting beliefs that may be pulling you down.

Often low confidence can be rooted in past negative experiences or trauma, and using hypnotherapy we can work together in a gentle way, to identify and address these underlying issues, leaving you free to move on from the past and build a more positive self image.

Hypnotherapy for Confidence in London

During a Hypnotherapy session we will spend time discussing what low confidence means for you and how this is impacting you. Each session is tailored specifically to your needs, there is no one-size fits all approach as everyone is different. As an integrative therapist I will call on the most appropriate techniques and psychotherapeutic theory to help you to meet your goals as quickly as possible.

Hypnotherapy itself is often very relaxing and I aim for you to leave each session with me feeling better than you did when you arrived. I will also provide you with tools and techniques to help you to navigate life’s ups and downs in the future when our work together has finished.

I hold Hypnotherapy sessions in Crystal Palace or online via zoom and have a variety of evening and weekday slots available. If you would like to increase your confidence I can help ; contact me or email me directly at suzy@luminouslifetherapy.co.uk to arrange an obligation free 15 minute discovery call.

If you think that you might be suffering from  low confidence, some signs to look out for are ;

Common reasons for low confidence

  • Negative experiences: Negative experiences such as criticism, rejection, or failure can have a significant impact on a person’s confidence levels. Repeated negative experiences can lead to them developing negative self-talk and beliefs, further contributing to their lack of confidence.

  • Comparison to others: Social comparison is a natural human tendency, but constantly comparing yourself to others can be detrimental to a person’s confidence levels. When people believe that they don't measure up to others, it can lead to feelings of inferiority.

  • Perfectionism: Those who struggle with perfectionism often set very high standards for themselves and may become overly critical when they fail to meet these standards. This can lead to feelings of inadequacy and a lack of confidence in their abilities.

  • Childhood experiences: Childhood experiences such as neglect, abuse, or bullying can have a lasting impact on a person’s confidence levels. These negative experiences can lead to feelings of unworthiness and a lack of self-esteem.

  • Mental health issues: Mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem can also contribute to low confidence levels. These conditions can affect someone’s ability to see themselves in a positive light and may lead to negative self-talk and core beliefs
